Receiving the visiting group of Juntendo University in Japan
Dr. Yasuhiko Tomino, the Professor of Juntendo University in Japan, the President of Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology visited Taiwan during the 6th Asia Pacific Chapter Meeting of International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (Sep 27th to 29th).
WS arranged the visiting group to HD center of Taipei Veterans General Hospital, to find out the exact usage of WS FIR. In addition, the visiting group also meet with the research team to update the lasted circumstance of FIR research.
Professor Tomino put lots of attention on WS FIR and plans to start to use WS FIR in HD center of Juntendo University since October.
He said that fistula is always a problem in HD therapy Japan. He hopes it’s able to be improved by introducing WS FIR into Japan.
Professor Tomino asked about the detail of WS FIR practice in Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
