19th Japanese Society for Dialysis Access was held in Sep 12 and 13, 2015 in Hiroshima.

Prof. Prabir Roy-Chaudury, the world-famous expert of fistula was invited to make a speech of fistula maturation during the congress. In the speech, he introduced many innovative therapies to solve fistula problem. WS Far-Infrared Therapy Unit is one of the innovative therapies and is already implemented in clinical practice in many countries unlike others in research stage.
