FIRAPY is exhibited again at the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy!!
As usual, FIRAPY again attended the JSDT (the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy) annual meeting from Jun 28 to Jun 30 this year. The JSDT, which is held in turns around Japan every year, has once again come to Yokohama, where is near Tokyo, this year.

In Japan, dialysis is known for its excellent quality and there is the highest prevalence rate of dialysis in the world. JSDT is the most representative and authoritative organization in the field of Japan dialysis medicine. At present, the JSDT is one of the largest academic societies in Japan (with 1,7000 members) and over 20,000 professionals, who relate dialysis medicine, attend the annual conference.
FIRAPY has been participating in the JSDT for six consecutive years. However, FIRAPY’s official entry into the Japanese market in early 2018. After one and a half years of hard work, more than 100 hospitals and dialysis centers in Japan currently use FIRAPY to care for their patients. In the past, FIRAPY didn’t be known well by the public. Until now, half of the people who have come to the booth have heard, even actually seen and used FIRAPY. From here, it shows that FIRAPY’s popularity has gradually opened up in Japan.

As the number of hospitals and dialysis centers using FIRAPY continues to increase, each of them has collected considerable experience. As many as Eight institutions have published clinical cases of FIRAPY application and they made FIRAPY become a remarkable highlight in this conference. Because FIRAPY is committed to promoting foot care in Japan, in these eight cases, six cases are outstanding cases of foot ischemia and wound treatment.
After this JSDT conference, FIRAPY’s reputation in Japan up to a brand-new level. In the future, we look forward to FIRAPY entering more hospitals and dialysis centers in Japan, and bringing benefits to more Japanese dialysis patients and people in need.
