In June 2019, ERA-EDTA(European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association) and NDT(Nephrology Dialysis Transplantation) co-published the latest version of AVF and AVG guideline—“Clinical practice guideline on peri- and postoperative care of arteriovenous fistulas and grafts for haemodialysis in adults”
In the guideline, Far-infrared therapy is recommended for AVF maturation and AVF long-term patency maintenance. All the far-infrared therapy evidence and reference mention in the guideline use FIRAPY as the intervention.
