WS Far-Infrared Therapy Unit is first disclosed in Japan!

Professor Tomino (center) and Dr. Io (right) took a picture before our booth.

The Asia Pacific Congress of Nephrology (APCN) was held on 14th to 17th May in Tokyo. We were invited by Prof. Tomino Yasuke, the president of the congress and the professor of Juntendo University, to exhibit our far-infrared therapy unit.

Dr. Io from the hospital of Juntendo University presented his preliminary data about the fistula care with WS Far-Infrared Therapy Unit. He is very excited about the positive results in such a short period and intends to further expand the enrolled number of the clinical study.

This is our first time to exhibit WS Far-Infrared Therapy Unit in Japan. We will also show our device at the annual meeting of Japanese Society of Dialysis Therapy (JSDT) in Kobe from 13th to 15th June.

2014 will be the first year of WS in Japan! This is particularly important not only because of the large dialysis market in Japan (there are more than 300,000 HD patients) but also because Japan is one of the highest levels of dialysis care in the world. It will be an important milestone for us if we can enter the Japanese market.

Dr. Io explained what he observed in applying WS Far-Infrared Therapy Unit on HD patients.

Dr. Chih-ching Lin, MD, from Taipei Veterans General Hospital explained the current status of using WS Far-Infrared Therapy Unit in the dialysis room in Taiwan to Japanese, Philippine, and Indian doctors.
